It’s gradually gotten to winter in Australia since April, the temperature currently is nearly 10 degrees Celsius. It is such a hard way for me to wake up and go to work. Every time on my way to and from work, how I wished for a warm cup of hot coffee to warm up this cold morning. So, I searched the internet for what could fulfill this simple need of mine. I bought two famous brands of thermos bottle, Tiger and Thermos, they are all light in weight, lighter than the weight of our usual mug. And it’s easy to carry. We can put it in our backpack, briefcase, or on the drink holder in the car. After I used for several months, I think the cups in Thermos brand are better. I try to fill it with hot water and the hot water can still maintain a temperature of about 55 degrees Celsius 24 hours later. However, Tiger brand thermos bottles could not do the same, the hot water becomes room temperature water after 24 hours, which means in terms of insulation performance, Thermos brand does a better job than the Tiger brand insulation cups.
After comparing the most critical features, let’s compare their design. I think both two brands are nice, simple, and modern. But Thermos considers the users’ behaviour in its design. Its bottle has some curve curvature so that people can easily grasp the bottle when using it. And both products have a variety of colours for us to choose from. And when I compared the similar size of these two products, I was surprised to find that Thermos bottles are about twice as cheap as Tiger! I would personally highly recommend Thermos cup to users who have a higher demand for thermal mugs and are also more concerned about the price.
And I was surprised to find that the Thermos cup also has a version for children, if you also want your child to be able to drink warm drinks during the winter or cold drinks during the summer, you may go to choose one of them as a birthday gift or Easter gift to your child. With a variety of patterns, you could choose one of them that suits your child. But don’t forget the hot water is not safe to put into the kid thermos bottles because the design for kid version with pop-up straw.
In addition to the Thermos bottle, I also found another good thing that can be used in the office. That is the smart mug warmer. This mug warmer surprised me after I used it.
